Meet Dr. Christa Reeves

Dr. Christa Reeves has devoted her career to helping children and families across Georgia navigate hearing and listening challenges with care and compassion. She began her journey at the University of Georgia, where she studied Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a focus in Audiology. From there, she went on to the University of Florida, earning both her Master of Arts in Audiology and her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree.

Dr. Christa started her career at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, the largest birthing hospital in the country. She was part of the pioneering team that developed newborn hearing screening protocols when national standards were introduced in 2001—helping ensure that every baby born in the United States receives early hearing care. The program she helped build continues to be recognized as a model of excellence today.

Over the years, Dr. Christa has developed a special passion for Auditory Processing Disorders (APD). She is one of the few audiologists in the metro Atlanta area with advanced training in testing and treatment for APD, and she takes pride in guiding children and their families through the challenges of listening and learning.

Known affectionately by her patients as “Dr. Christa,” she is admired not only for her expertise but also for her warm, approachable nature. Her greatest joy comes from helping children gain the tools and confidence they need to thrive—at home, in school, and beyond.

Meet Dr. Megan Williams

Dr. Megan Williams is passionate about helping patients improve their hearing health so they can stay connected to the people and moments that matter most. She earned her undergraduate degree in public health with a minor in communication sciences and disorders from the University of South Carolina before completing her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree at the University of Florida. During her training, she explored many areas of audiology and found her greatest joy in working with adults and older patients, especially in fitting and programming hearing aids.

After graduation, Dr. Megan founded Helix Audiology, where she specializes in both Auditory Processing Disorders (APD) and hearing aids. She is dedicated to providing individualized, patient-centered care, ensuring that every person she works with receives the maximum benefit from their hearing healthcare.

Dr. Megan also partners with Dr. Christa Reeves and Little Listeners, working closely together to support patients of all ages with hearing and listening challenges.

Her patients know her for her kind, caring approach and her ability to make hearing care feel personal and approachable. For Dr. Megan, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone rediscover the joy of clear communication and everyday sounds.

Olly – Our Therapy Dog

Meet Olly – Our Therapy Dog

Little Listeners is proud to have a furry team member on staff—Olly, our sweet and cuddly therapy dog! Olly loves coming to work and spending time with patients during evaluations and therapy sessions. His calm and gentle nature helps children and families feel more comfortable, turning appointments into a positive and enjoyable experience.

Unlike a service animal, Olly isn’t trained for a specific person or task. Instead, his role as a registered therapy dog is to provide comfort, companionship, and encouragement to anyone who might need it. Sometimes that means sitting quietly with a child during testing, and other times it’s offering a wagging tail and a nuzzle to brighten someone’s day.

Research has shown that therapy dogs can have wonderful benefits for both children and adults. They can help lower anxiety, boost overall well-being, and provide emotional support. Studies even suggest that animal assisted therapy can be especially helpful for children with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental or learning challenges, as well as for older adults facing conditions such as Alzheimer’s.

At Little Listeners, Olly brings joy, comfort, and a sense of calm—reminding us that sometimes the best kind of therapy has four paws and a wagging tail.
